Happy New Year
Just wanted to wish all my friends, old and new, near or far, a wonderful and happy new year from Shell, Ginny Grace, and myself.
This has been an extraordinary year, full of ups and downs, but due in large part ot wonderful people in my life the ups were sweeter and the downs less painful.
If you're going out tonight, be safe. don't drink and drive and don't let others do so. tell someone you love them, give someone a hug, shine a little light and make someone feel needed. remember what your parents taught you, to treat others like you want to be treated (it's not the golden rule for nothin' you know). comfort somone who needs it, lend a hand, make the space around you better.
keep in mind the last line of the last Beatles song:
'the love you take is equal to the love you make"
cheers

Pssst, Ron! I actually do like Hootie. At the time of the post, I was iPodding, and this horrid, horrid noise came on, so I slipped the pod out of my bra (too cheap to buy an iHolster), and the screen said, "Hootie and the Blowfish, Fairweather Johnson." I'm sorry, but that tune is just so lost on me. I'm still crying at the dolphins and holding my hand and only wanting to be with you and, I'm REALLY sitting alone by this lamppost now, aren't I?
Mr Z and I went to see Hootie at Interlochen two summers ago. It was an amazingly energetic concert and we enjoyed it very much. Saw Lyle Lovett that summer, too. Small auditorium, big fun.
Not that I'm a pervert or anything, or that you're a pharmacologist or whatever, but do you think Viagra would fix a fairweather johnson, or might Cialis be better? See, I got this girlfriend, and she's got this husband, and, well ... let's just not go there.
leading doctors say that the best thing for a flaccid Hootie is some Blowfish, a Fairweather Johnson works best in the sunshine (hence the name)...
not that I would know anything about either as I am strong like bull
