Questions of Podcasting
Have you ever listened to a podcast?
I listen to a bunch of podcasts.
If I had a podcast would you listen to it?
What sort of things would you want to hear in my podcast?
I ask these questions because I'm thinking that I blogged before most people I know, and before everybody else gets their own podcast eventually, I thought maybe I'd start a podcast.
I'd love to eventually have guests on it. I enjoy a conversation about an interesting topic. Basically I'm a curious person. If I meet someone at a party I tend to pepper them with questions, because I'm interested in things I don't know, or partially know.
I was trying to think of a good name for my podcast...any suggestions?
I was leaning to Tranquility Base, because it's my favorite word, but I'm wondering if that's really a good name for a podcast.
I have to find my microphone today...

I listen to one podcast (semi-irregularly): Rory Blyth's "The Smartest Man in the World," or something like that. I've been reading his blog for a couple of years, so listening to the podcast is just an extension of that. He speaks and writes with the same "voice." He's funny (to me; he might be an acquires taste; I don't know).
So, sure. If you make a podcast, I'll give it a listen. Why not? Go for it!
I only listen to one cast right now, MRR radio. It started as a radio show like 30 years ago, but now is a podcast.
I guess that comment didn't answer anything you asked!
Listening to Podcasts is a really foreign idea to me. I'm sure I'd try it if I ever thought of it, but it's like I have an old-fashioned view of it - the Web is for looking, music for hearing.
I'd do my own Podcast, as a radio show of sorts, but there are so may fair use/copyright hoops involved, it's easier to not do so.
That being said, if you did one, I'd give it a listen.
